Labour MP Louisa Wall has accused China of harvesting organs from political prisoners among the Uyghur and Falun Gong populations.
The MP, who is part of a global network of politicians monitoring the actions of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), also says her own government needs to do more to counter what she calls the slave labour trade in China.

Mike King says the Ministry of Health (MoH) has rejected funding pleas for Gumboot Friday funding to provide free counselling for young people.
In an Instagram post on Thursday morning King, a prominent mental health campaigner who founded Gumboot Friday, said he'd received a letter saying the MoH "wasn't in a position" to fund the service.

A Navy sailor sexually violated and indecently assaulted his colleagues while on duty in Canada, a court martial jury has concluded.
The 27-year-old sailor, who has interim name suppression, denied the offences at the hearing held at Devonport Naval Base on Auckland’s North Shore this week.

ACT leader David Seymour says "Helen Clark got it right" by not signing up to the UN Declaration of Indigenous Peoples in 2007, and is now calling for all parties in Parliament to renounce the declaration.
New Zealand was one of only four countries that did not join the declaration when it was established in 2007, though National later signed up in 2010.
