New Zealand First leader Winston Peters has delivered a fiery speech at his party's AGM on Sunday, announcing to the public that "we are coming back".
It's his first speech since NZ First was booted out of Parliament at last year's election after only getting 2.6 percent of the vote, well below the 5 percent threshold required if no candidate wins a seat.

A Hong Kong court ordered the top editor of pro-democracy newspaper Apple Daily and the head of its parent company held without bail Saturday (local time) in the first hearing since their arrest two days ago under the city's national security law.
Ryan Law, the chief editor, and Cheung Kim-hung, the CEO of Next Digital, have been charged with collusion with a foreign country to endanger national security in a case widely seen as an attack on press freedom in the semi-autonomous Chinese territory.

OPINION: When Covid-19 forced New Zealand to shut its borders, it left refugees we had committed to resettle in precarious circumstances with shattered hopes.
The latest United Nation figures put people forcibly displaced by conflict at nearly 80 million – a near doubling from 10 years ago. Each minute of every day last year, 21 people were separated from their friends, family and communities because of who they are or what they believe.

No no no... Sorry but we have a housing crisis at the moment. What is the point in bringing in more refuges from around the world if we can't house them properly. We already can't house kiwi's that live here.
Sort the housing crisis out first and then look at the numbers. Look after the people that are already here before expanding on those numbers.
