President Donald Trump’s administration will block Americans from downloading China-based applications WeChat and TikTok, citing national security concerns. This ban will go in effect on Sunday. The threat may be far more imminent than many imagine. According to Taiwan’s Foreign Minister Joseph Wu “the Chinese authoritarian leaders may find Taiwan as a convenient scapegoat.
