Foreign Minister Winston Peters has announced further support to Samoa in the wake of an ongoing measles outbreak in the country.
Additional medical supplies and personnel, including a third rotation of New Zealand’s emergency medical assistance team (NZMAT), further nurse vaccinators, intensive care (ICU) specialists and Samoan-speaking medical professionals, will be deployed from today.

I think e-scooters are great. I love riding them. They're easy. They're efficient. They're fun.
And in high density, congested cities, they make so much sense. I was running late for a ferry a few weeks back and unusually I hadn’t ridden my bike. I had to hustle from K Road in Auckland down to the ferry terminal. And instead of literally running two kilometres with my bag, I quickly scanned in an e-Scooter and went straight down Queen Street. I made the ferry with minutes to spare. Enough time to get a coffee. Too easy.

Months of work has gone in to enacting a new tax on international online sellers.
GST on purchases less than $1000 comes into force from today for retailers selling products in New Zealand, if they sell more than $60,000 worth of goods here annually.

It's a regular scene outside op shops – people swing by after hours to drop off their donated goods at the front door, or leave them beside an overflowing donation bin on the side of the road.
While those responsible might have good intentions, they're actually breaking council rules.

Rocket Lab has stood down a scheduled Friday evening launch of its Electron rocket from Māhia Peninsula "to conduct further tests on ground systems".
Among the cargo on the rocket is a Japanese satellite that could drop artificial "shooting stars" to light up the skies above Tokyo for the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in the Japanese capital in 2020.
