The Canterbury District Health Board (CDHB) has shot down another anti-vaxx rumour claiming a child collapsed because of the COVID vaccine.

A photo was posted on social media on January 17 showing a young person lying on the pavement outside a vaccination clinic.

All of New Zealand is moving to the red traffic light setting after the Prime Minister confirmed Omicron is spreading in the community.

New Zealand landed its first aid delivery in Tonga when an Air Force Hercules touched down just after 4pm on Thursday.

The plane was on the ground for just 90 minutes delivering the hygiene and food supplies following the eruption of the Hunga-Tonga-Hunga-Ha'apai volcano on Saturday.

The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) has upheld a complaint that a Facebook ad for a Hamilton car dealership was "misleading", as it included a poster that looked very similar to the Government's Unite Against COVID-19 branding.

A sponsored post for Hamilton Electric Vehicles popped up in the complainant's news feed and the ad included a photo of the dealership's entrance, which displayed three COVID-related posters. At the top was a Freedom and Rights Coalition poster that had diagonal yellow and white stripes similar to the Government's Unite Against COVID-19 signs.
