Since I have been answering my questions one of the other questions that come up very often is what video editing equipment do I use. Now to be honest 99.9923 percent of my editing is digital and therefore done on the computer. But I use a couple of bits of hardware to help me.

Many new YouTubers start their YouTube channel with a hiss and a roar thinking it is all pretty easy to make a video and then just upload it to YouTube and that's all you have to do. Most "Maker" YouTube channels are one-man bands, working the camera, editing and promoting the video as well as coming up with the project idea and making the project itself... It actually takes a bit of work.

Now you don't need to spend thousands upon thousands of dollars on a computer to do youtube videos. But it is recommended that you have a semi-decent computer. My current computer is an entry-level gaming setup. with a few tweaks here and there. This is to keep current with the upgrading of software I use as well as just makes it easier editing a video.

Free and Open Source Software.

In this article, I am not going to go into depth with what the difference is between freeware and Open-source software. Also, I will not list any trail software (where they say it is free but is not freeware).

So let's get straight into the list.

Many of you, well a few... okay one or two of you know that I am/was wanting to convert half of the usable basement space into a man cave, entertainment room, with bar and the like. Well as you may also know I do have an issue with basement moisture. Now when I say moisture it's not just damp, but if I dig a hole 8 inches it will fill up with water when it rains and drains just as quickly.

You said it was too hot the other week sitting on the deck. We listened, and we agree...

For a wee, while now my (8 years) old computer had starting to play up and the fan would come on slow it down... It getting frustrating board line biting the bullet and invest in a new PC. However I have always said, even when I was the IT geek, and now just a standard user, I always said, that only upgrade to meet your needs and wants. No need to go and buy a fancy quad-core 64bit, 16 GB ram blah blah blah if all you are going to do is email and vise versa there is no point just buying a plain business computer if you are going to play the latest 3D Games.

It was like any Tuesday morning Paula already up and about, me slowly moving from my slumber. I get up and do the usual morning things I usually do in the morning. Rimu our dog was wanting her morning walk... Paula was about to do this she grabbed her jacket, whilst it was still and not raining it still had a chill in the air as winter is slowly setting in.

I like Lego I can not lie... I am not what they call a purist, meaning I only buy Lego and nothing else... Not all models I have are Lego. (I will say if they are are Lego or not. Click the "Non Lego Blocks" tag above). I also have not taken photo's of all my models  and will put in an official image if I have not got a photo of my build. I will eventually take photo's of all my builds over time. Also I don't just collect the big black special official kits I also collect certain "City" and "Technic" and various other themed kits.

I do have one gripe the grinds my wheels though... Stop calling it "Legos", it is simply "Lego"Is it "Legos" or simply "Lego"? The Lego company, the mastermind behind these iconic toy, has a firm stance on this matter. They adamantly maintain that the correct plural form is "LEGO bricks" or "LEGO sets," treating "Lego" as an adjective rather than a noun.

I don't have a huge number of sets. The above set count are only those sets that have been made and registered. There are several still not made and or not registered or listed here. Also the brick count does not count spare parts, 2nd hand Lego, or non Lego sets. However there are quite a few sets I want before the retire and a few I want that are due to be released.

Current sets to be made are;
