Months ahead of a deadline for US agencies to reveal everything they know about UFOs to Senators, the CIA's entire archive has apparently been uploaded to the internet for everyone to see.
Millions of pages of documents have appeared on The Black Vault, a website dedicated to "exposing government secrets" by acquiring declassified documents and making them available to the public.

New Zealand’s borders controls are getting even stricter, with arrivals from virtually all countries soon needing a negative Covid test before boarding a plane here.
Covid-19 Response Minister Chris Hipkins on Tuesday gave Director-General of Health Ashley Bloomfield new powers, which means he can now easily require negative tests for arrivals from all countries apart from Australia, some Pacific Island nations, and Antarctica.

A rumour New Zealand will enter lockdown on January 15 has been slammed as false by the All-of-Government COVID-19 Response Group after the untrue claims circulated on social media.
The rumours appeared to start spreading at the beginning of January. On Twitter, one person claimed the "NZ script" of what will happen is that the "mutant strain", presumably meaning the new United Kingdom and South Africa variant, will arrive on Aotearoa's shores and there will "be a quarantine breach".

The Government has pushed through new measures to protect New Zealand against COVID-19.
On Tuesday, the Government announced it will give the Director-General of Health the power to require a negative pre-departure COVID-19 test from all New Zealanders returning to the country - and he will soon do so.

A top health expert is calling on the Government to stop people coming to New Zealand from the US and UK as new COVID-19 variants continue to spread amongst their populations.
Both the South African and the UK variants have been identified as between 50 and 70 percent more contagious than the strain that previously circulated New Zealand.

A Waikato housing developer has declared he will never again build homes for the state after a Hamilton home his firm constructed went up in flames.
John Kenel, the chief executive of Cambridge-based firm Assured Property, questioned why taxpayers are investing money to build quality homes for “people who are not contributing” and who “treat them like crap”.

Brazilian researchers have identified the concerning new coronavirus variant first discovered in South Africa in a woman who contracted COVID-19 for the second time, and said it was the first such case reported in the world.
There have been other cases of reinfection in Brazil and the South African variant had previous been detected, but reinfection with this mutation of the virus is believed to be a first, researchers said.
