Deciding to go Kindred Cafe, was one of these places I didn't know about and found after a bit of a search on the inter-webs machine. Being Sunday and my last day of my holiday and having work tomorrow... actually that has nothing to do with the story...

Name: Kindred Cafe
Address: 333 George Street, Central Dunedin, Dunedin 9016
Website: https://kindrednz.com

To be fair we were lucky to get a park just up the road around the corner and being Sunday free parking is always a bonus.  Walking down passing a couple of other prospects for the Cafescapade...

Kindred had a good collection of our beautiful cakes and treats, sweets, donuts and buns and the like but we didn't see any savory, like sausage roll, cheese roll scones and the like. However not to worry we ordered from the menu as we both were feeling a little more peckish than normal.

Eggs Benedict never goes a miss so we both ordered that and large flat whites. Our coffees arrived first, and while waiting for our eggs benedict I decided I wanted a donut... my problem was the choice... which one oh so many... custard and jam was my eventual choice. I must say I it was a good choice.

Our meals arrived after a bit and was really good. We both enjoyed our meal. Xaria thought the coffee was a okay however I thought a bit weak for my taste but I did ask for a larger cup without asking for an extra shot.

Over all I thought the two coffee's and two eggs bene's was on the high side price wise, but was good. Does Kindred feel like a cafe, well it feels like a mix of a restaurant and cafe, however it would be a great place to meet up with your friends and have a good catch up. Overall we both enjoyed our visit
