There have been no new cases of Covid-19 reported in New Zealand today, the Health Ministry has confirmed. In a statement, the Ministry of Health said the number of active cases was now 56.

The total number of confirmed cases remains at 1722.

There were 5530 tests for Covid-19 processed yesterday, bringing the total number of tests to 1,309,992.

There were nine new cases of the coronavirus reported in New Zealand's managed isolation facilities yesterday.
