After a day without the usual coronavirus briefing, Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern and Director-General of Health Ashley Bloomfield are back.

The pair will be updating the country on the coronavirus response at the usual time of 1pm from the Beehive.

Cabinet will make a call on Monday whether New Zealand will come out of level 4 lockdown this week.

On Saturday there were 13 new cases of COVID-19 reported across the country, and no new deaths. The figures were released via written statement without a press conference for the first time since the lockdown began in late March.
